The
Story of Blackmore (by Himself)
This
is my personal journal of my life to date. I was born in the town of Minoc some 35 years
ago. My father was the town smith and my mother practiced alchemy and dabbled in the arts.
I grew up mining for my father on the Northern mountain side of Minoc but always wanted to
learn more about the ways of magic. I spent 10 years mining and learning what my father
would teach me about smithin and the occational sword beatin err lesson . I eventually got
profecient with the blade and made my father proud with my 1st Ettin kill. I joined a
guild known as the Companions of Virtue to continue my training. (They later were known as
Wayfarers.) There I met Drag Vanderbashe and Apoc. These two taught me many awesome
things.
When I was 25 I, along with my father, joined the Army of Lord Blackthorn and took up the
Chaos shield. We fought side by side in many glorious battles. Near the end of the Great
war my father was fatally wounded by an arrow. I did all I could to save him but is was
for naught. I took his dead body home to mother for burial. It was a sad time for us both,
but now I was free to spread my wings and learn all I could about magic. My mother was a
great help. She knew one day I would feel a call so great I would have to listen. She had
a full spell book, a collection of reagents, and a sizable nest egg for me to get started
on.
I spent the next 10 years with my nose in books learning and practicing. The Wayfarers
slowly divided and seperated and I began searching for new friends with the possibility to
find new magics and battles. I met Flint Fireforge one day and he introduced me to Bonton.
The guildmaster the Empire of Twilite at the time. We discussed the past and the future of
his guild as well as my old guild. He said he could use a man like me so I joined.
I am now a Master Mage and have tripled the supply of reagents my mother started me with.
And have over 50K in gold to boot. All from the sales of reagents on my to vendors. As a
guild EoT goes out on hunts regularly. We have a wide variety of members and all are good
friends.
