the New Lands

Greetings all.
The new age proves to be a place where a decent mage can find his fame in battle with
little trouble. (Not to say it is easy mind you.) The monsters here have potent magic to
fight with and do tremendous damage if they catch you.

Ovak Fireforge had never seen
all the different monsters in these new lands so I decided to give him a tour. We began at
spider keep. The Terathan Avengers are one of the toughest and deadliest foes anyone shall
face but we had a plan. Easily we got them to chase us but to the surprise of the enemy is
was to a trap. We made our way to high ground and patiently waited as the Avengers
tried to kill us with their spells. But to no avail for we were both highly resistant to
magic. Now it was time to act. |
The Avengers were low on mana and could no
longer dispel the bladed spirit appearin beside it. As the spirit quickly cut into the
spider the Avenger forgot all about me n Ovak and concentrated on the wicked damage my
creation was delivering. Just as that happened Ovak casts one of his own ! Now both the
beasts are busy. And we can get ready to finish em off. With a simple dispel the spirit is
gone and then POW
e-bolt and the Avenger is down. |

Many Avengers perished that
night as well as a few Matriarchs and Enforcers. Ovak became better known across the land
for his heroic deeds. He is now Admirable. This place spawns alot of monsters and it takes
a full team of warriors most of a day to begin to thin the numbers. |

Just a little note to all that have never been. even though
we had our plan there was many times when myself or Blackmore (more myself) almost lost
our lives leading them to our trap. and i must say, it is more fun than i have had in a
long time
