One Night in the life of a treasure hunter

Well, for Unforgiven, the female "Britannian" incarnation of a good friend of mine, also called Beorn de Vesper, it was a very busy night.  After receiving some hints on how to locate more easily the treasure behind all his (her?) maps.

She started purchasing some Map Making skill at the local Cartographer.  She then got to about 32 in skill which should be enough to decode the *easy* maps she was carrying on her.   She had about 75 mining so she was good in the digging arts...

So she went on with the searching and the digging, soon she was with a small gang of friends, including Wayward y Slash Jinx.

Then all of the sudden, she heard a rigid sound coming from her shovel... it was a metalic box covered with mud.  A soft but nauseating odor started coming out from the respectable hole just opened in the humid ground.

They started to wonder what to do next when she quicly hurried the familiar words... "Ex Por!".  A clanking noise came out of the old device and a wicked smile twisted the faces of the tired adventurers...

Ahh! What a delight.  When they finished admiring the sighting, they started to pull out all the treasure, including:

- about 5 magical items (hardening, force, axes of power)
- 5 to 10 5th+ level scrolls, 5th
- 10 assorted gems
- 10 reagents
- 1,000 gold

But it did not end there!  Seemingly coming from between the trees and up from below the ground monsters! Headlesses, mongbats, ratmen, skeletons and zombies! Sometimes there was some gold and magical items from the remains of the foul beasts... There were never, however, more than two of them at the time, like if they felt how their existence was about to end!

This strangely, repeated a few more times on the rest of the night.  It seems that several of the maps, were brought up from the same sunken ship, because there were more treasure chests hidden on the same spot!  When we gathered up the little remains of strength in our bodies, we returned home with the strange sense of a extremely good adventure!
